- Beethoven International Music Competition – includes a section for composers. Entries close 1 Jan 2026
- Claude Debussy International Music Competition – original compositions accepted in many categories, including a dedicated Composition category. 2026 Season 1 applications close 10 Jan 2026
- Harold Smart Memorial Composition Competition – Original short anthem for a choir of modest ability, suitable for singing in a church service. Entries close 15 Jan 2026
- Vienna International Music Competition – for music students and music professionals of all nationalities, ages and musical disciplines (piano, strings, wind, voice, chamber music and composition). Entries close 22 Jan 2026
